Blackmer LGLD2 , LGLD3, LGLD4 – 2”, 3” and 4” LPG Transfer Sliding Vane Pump

As a component of the Cavitation Line of sliding vane pumps, the LGLD propane pumps are well-suited for a range of applications, including propane, LPG, butane, and anhydrous ammonia use. These applications encompass bulk plant service, multiple cylinder filling scenarios, vaporizers, bobtails, and transports. Each LGLD propane pump model incorporates an internal relief valve, and the pumping chamber can be easily rebuilt when necessary with replaceable casing liner and end discs. Additionally, these pumps are equipped with cavitation suppression liners, effectively reducing noise, vibration, and wear.

Typically, Blackmer® LGLD2 propane pumps find placement on the chassis of a bobtail or on a welded steel pad attached to the tank. The 3- and 4-inch rotary vane pump models offer versatile mounting options on transports, typically in proximity to or between the tank landing gear brackets.

For a streamlined pumping solution, Blackmer offers fully Integrated Unit Assemblies, which are pre-engineered and designed for easy installation. These unit assemblies come complete with a motor, gearbox, baseplate, coupling safety covers, and a LGL Sliding Vane Pump (2, 3 & 4-inch sizes). The advantage of these pre-configured fully Integrated Unit Assemblies is their ready-to-install nature, eliminating the need for alignment and enabling immediate drop-in installation.
